Lee Wavedancer co-founded Witch On The Go with a friend, and is now the sole manager website. She was raised in a feminist, atheist household by parents who had a deep love of nature. As a child, she was an avid bookreader and discovered the Goddess in fantasy novels, but didn't realize that Goddess religions were alive and well until she was an adult. After studying Eastern religions in college and pretty much giving up on religion in general, a friend invited her to a talk and ritual by Starhawk. During that ritual, Lee realized that she was witch.
That was 14 years ago, and since that time, Lee has belonged to several covens, co-founded a teaching collective, led public rituals, conducted transformational trance work, given private tarot readings and created ritual products for her friends. Her training includes participation in numerous workshops taught by nationally known teachers, the reading of many books by a wide variety of pagan authors, an initiation by her coven and ongoing independent study. An accomplished musician and writer, she has composed several goddess chants and plans to create an album of ritual music soon. Lee's patron goddess is Isis.
